Our Story

It started with a love of flowers, a dream, and a horse trailer...

Botanical Wild is a mobile flower truck business based in Astoria, Oregon. We offer distinct floral designs featuring ferns, moss, succulents, pin cushion flowers, chamomile, and dandelions. Botanical Wild Flower Artistry is committed to excellence by sourcing local and hard-to-find flowers. We believe in innovation and convenience, ensuring your floral needs are met through our online store and real-time location updates.
How Botanical Wild Bloomed
Shey has always believed that flowers bring pure joy to everyone and she saw the flower market changing and how her hometown community needed more “flower-power” to deliver maximum joy.
Destined to open a floral shop in the Astoria area, Shey searched long and hard for a venue. She shared with her partner and her mom that her life dream would be to run a flower cart. Like a food cart, but for flowers!
As all new business owners know, it takes courage and guts to jump into new territory, but they did it with gusto! After several viewings, they landed on a gem, an old horse trailer, named Dandy The Lion (aka Dandelion).
Staying aware of blooming ideas, one thing led to the other and Shey got the best gift she has ever been given! A rusty old horse cart that fit her flower cooler and make stunning bouquets available to locals came her way at just the right time. Dandy The Lion came along and delivered pure flower-power love.
We started with rust and rot and, well....horse hair! But, after some tough love and shine, Shey, her partner, and her flower-power-Mom - along with a few Botanical Allies - built a mobile flower cart for the Clatsop County community.
They are excited for floral festivities to emerge so they can join the celebrations, honors, and observances with you all. Shey will always believe in sharing the joy of flowers.

Queer Bird Photo Works, views and captures the world through queer eyes (but that name was already claimed so...) they take an embarrassing amount of photos everywhere they go. Flora and fauna are an favorite, but they're always happy to include a human or two. Sara's a supporting character in Botanical Wild, accent on character.
